Questions we hear often
These are the questions producers and organisers ask most before getting in touch. If yours is not here, the contact page is the quickest way to reach us.
- What kinds of projects does celebyzo take on?
- We work on television studios, concerts and festival stages. Services cover studio design, camera control, lighting, sound, live event workflow planning and production consultancy. You can ask for one service or combine several, depending on what the production needs.
- How do I start a project with you?
- Send an enquiry through the contact page describing the production, the venue and your timing. We read it, ask any questions we need answered, and then send a written quotation. Work begins once you confirm the quotation in writing.
- Can you work with the equipment we already own?
- Yes. Many projects start with an equipment review so we know what you have and what condition it is in. We plan around existing kit where it is suitable and say clearly where replacement would make a real difference.
- Do you provide written plans or only on-site work?
- Both. Studio designs, lighting plots, signal routing and crew plans are delivered as written documents your team can keep. We can also attend rehearsals or the event itself for setup, tuning and monitoring, if the quotation includes it.
- How are your prices set?
- Prices depend on the service, the size of the production and how many days we are involved. The prices page lists what each service costs and what is included. Anything that changes the scope is explained in the written quotation.
- How does payment work?
- Nothing is paid on the website. After your enquiry we send a written quotation, and once you confirm it we issue an invoice. Payment is made by bank transfer, following the terms stated on the invoice.
- What happens if we need to cancel or change the booking?
- Cancellations and refunds follow our payment and refund policy, which sets out what applies at each stage. If your dates move, tell us as early as you can and we will say what it means for the quotation.
- Do you travel outside Oxford?
- Yes, we are based in Oxford and work at studios, venues and festival sites elsewhere. Travel and any overnight stay are agreed in the quotation beforehand, so there are no surprises when the invoice arrives.
